Dating – Three Types of Dating
If you are thinking of going on a date or dating, there are certain types of dating that you can participate in – namely social dating, group dating and exclusive dating. There are distinct differences in each of them, and if you are aware of these differences and your partner, you will have a much better time.
Social dating consists of hanging out with someone in a public place to get to know them better. If you want to set up a date with your partner, be sure to let them know what the date is. If they know what to expect, they will be ready for it and have more fun with it. The downside to not telling them the type of date you want to face is that they will want to dress really cool for you and you will want to play paintball. This will likely be a disaster for both of you. If it is not a surprise date, be sure to talk about what you want to do.
Group dating is one of the dating methods available to people who either want to gain their trust or find out who in the group would like to have a one-on-one conversation with them later. This is especially good if you are on a college campus or in a large church. The group can go to the beach and have a bonfire or go to the amusement park. If everyone is short on money, you can all go hiking or meet in a public place, eat snacks, talk, and play board games. This is helpful because if you originally had two potential dating partners in mind, you will know the person you want to see first based on the group date. This way, your potential partner can also determine if you are a good match for them.
Exclusive dating occurs when two people take time to spend alone together for a while without seeing anyone else. When you are “exclusive” with someone, you are not dating anyone else and are focused on learning more about your likes and dislikes. Learning the difference between the three will help you and your partner have a better time together.
